The condition of the Prime Minister of Slovakia remains serious.

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, who had previously been assassinated, regained consciousness after another operation. According to doctors, his condition is still very serious.

Denník N reports this with a reference to the director of the hospital in Banska Bystrica, Mirjam Lapunikova.

“The Prime Minister is conscious and remains in a very serious condition,” the statement said.

Lapunikova reported that the Prime Minister underwent a control CT scan and, based on the results, the dead tissue remaining after the gunshot wound was removed.

“The patient’s condition is really serious,” the doctor emphasized.
