Bear From Belarus Travels To Lithuania For Three Hours

A bear from Belarus has travelled to Lithuania for three hours. This was reported in the State Border Guard Service of the neighbouring country.

Border guards spotted the bear thanks to surveillance cameras. He crossed the border in the territory of the Chepkeliai reserve. The border fence was not installed in this place due to the difficult terrain. However, a surveillance system was deployed there.

The bear arrived in Lithuania around 4:30 am. It spent three hours on the territory of the country, and around 7:30 it returned to Belarus not far from the place where it initially crossed the border.
