Ukrainian Special Forces Hit Russia's Newest Communication Station For First Time In History Of War

Fighters of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine hit the newest digital radio relay station of R-416GM. This happened for the first time in the history of the war. Details about it were given by the SOF press service on Telegram.

‘The SOF struck the newest communication station of the Russians. For the first time in the history of the war,' stated the message.

Operators of the third SOF regiment identified an enemy R-416GM digital radio relay station while working in one of the operational areas.

The Ukrainian fighters launched a fire attack on the enemy target using one of the latest developments that came into service with the SOF. As a result of the attack, the Russian station was hit, and therefore communication between the command centre and units of the Russian Armed Forces was disrupted.

‘Note that this R-416GM station is the first one hit by the Ukrainian military during the war,’ the military said.

The SOF published a video showing how the UAV operators spotted the enemy hardware. After that, a precise strike was made at it, as a result of which the Russian station burst into flames.
