Drone Destroys Russian Military Base In Belgorod Region

On June 25, a drone attacked a school building in Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, where the Russian military was based. This was reported by the Russian media outlet of ASTRA.

Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said that a kamikaze drone detonated at a school in the village of Moshenoye in Yakovlevsky urban district - 25 kilometres from the border with Ukraine. The institution has not been functioning as intended for a long time.

"In the village of Moshenoye, the former school building was completely burnt down as a result of the fly-in," he wrote.

Sources told reporters that as a result of the detonation and subsequent fire, one serviceman died and another was injured. In addition, 200 people had to be evacuated from nearby houses because of the fly-in, fire and possible further detonation.
